The Friends of the Kal-Haven Trail 2022-23 Board of Directors

Jeff Green
Jeff comes to us from a life dedicated to community service. He has 45+ years of experience working with government and community groups mostly centered around open space acquisition and land management. He has served as a municipal Stormwater Chair for a township in the NYC watershed, has saved forests, assisted communities in securing publicly accessible open space, worked as a steward with land trusts, and helped protect the Hudson River. He came to Michigan in 2015 and almost immediately became involved in the Kal-Haven Trail Heritage Project.

Sue Hodapp
Sue Hodapp, Vice Chair, is a MSU Extension Certified Conservation Steward who leads the Friend’s Kal-Haven Trail Wildflower Restoration Project. She is also a local historian whose valued assistance helped make the DNR’s Kal-Haven Heritage Trail project the success that it is. She has served on the Friend’s board since 2011, except for a 2 year absence where she focused on research for the Heritage project.

Carol Harris
Carol has lived in the Paw Paw area since 1986. Her interest in the KalHaven Trail is to help remove invasives and to learn about native plants.
